Littles at the Dog and Pony weekend
"Littles" is the name many age players use for themselves.
These are people over 18 who like to spend time in a persona of a different (usually younger) age.
Littles are most welcome at all Dog N Pony events.
Littles love critters, and critters love littles.
For littles, we recommend the Saturday classes, Saturday party, and the Sunday outing.
Note that these events are mixed space, with interesting people coming from a broad range of backgrounds and experiences.
For those of you unaccustomed to being in littles space ...
- Littles space is mainly about innocence and play.
- It's sometimes hard to recognize littles at first. They may be dressed young, e.g. girlish, or schoolboy. This may be authentic, or it may be fetishized, e.g. a latex schoolgirl outfit.
- A little might be carrying a doll, stuffy, or child's toy.
- If in doubt, you can ask, e.g. "What age are you?" or "What's your name?"
- If you don't already know a certain little, it's usually better to let them approach you, rather than you engaging them.
- If you're interacting with someone who may be a little, never treat them like an adult. Treat littles just like you would a child of that age.
- If you know that person in their adult persona, don't assume that you know them in their little persona.
- Littles often, but not always, have a different name from their adult persona.
- If there are issues, you might ask "Is your parent here?"
- Do not attempt to date a child.
- Do not attempt to discipline a child, unless you've previously received explicit permission.
Many littles enjoy becoming critters too.
What kid doesn't play pony at one time or another.
This gets interesting when an adult human has become a little who's playing a critter.
You can spot the difference easily. An adult in animal head space will behave like the animal, and be non-verbal.
A kid playing animal will probably have a kid's verbalizations.
In both cases, it's best to treat them as the animal.
All our Dog N Pony events are 18+, your inner child excepted.
